About Nancy Graham (Bio)
Artist Statement
In my paintings I am attempting to capture an ephemeral moment in time. The particular cast of the sky,
the quality of the light as it illuminates the surrounding objects, the depth of the shadow, the serenity of stillness,
all influence the choices of subject matter, medium, method, and colors. The intent is to convey an emotional reaction to
a visual stimulus that may in turn, create an emotional response in the viewer.
